| Jeff’s pencil drawings of are dreamlike depictions of Pueblos that, Jeff says “Who knows -- may or may not have existed.” The jewelry that Jeff creates is original, He uses the traditional sand-cast
method, which requires that the be mold destroyed. His designs are carved
into soft Tufa stone. Silver is melted and poured into the mold. The mold
is usually destroyed because the heating and cooling of silver causes
it to stick to the soft sand stone. The mold is destroyed when the piece
is extracted from its mold.
